I had to post a bunch of gear photos per usual. The star of the show (to me) was the
@ludwigdrumshq Black Beauty that
@ryannxvx picked up for the session, which translated to my favorite sounding snare I’ve ever recorded or mixed. Better ingredients, better pizza, well, you know the rest.
The guitar rig was pretty fun - we ran Jaren’s pedalboard into my
@scienceamps Mother PREAMP, sending straight into the FX loop return (power amp) of my 5150 III, into the
@atlascabinets 4x12. Riffs powered by an
@espguitars Arctic Metal with a single EMG 81 bridge pickup. Throw some mics on that bad boy and you’ve got a stew goin’.
