Joining us - Dan Kellyâs Regional Crisis - in Sydney will be Dave McCormack & The Polaroids, while Baby Blue and Spod will be our special buds in Melbourne. Clearly there is a lot riding on this, as anything short of a spectacular show will mean twenty five years of rehearsal down the drain. Please come along and be a part of what can accurately be described as âhistoryâ.

Dan and I have been makinâ nâ playinâ the musics together since the turn of the century, and I was honoured to keep that ball rolling as producer/engineer/bass-plucker on this fine collection of odes to our funny and frightening planet. Weâre playing an instore at @rocksteadyrecords at 3:30 tomorrow, should you wish to get up close and personal with our sonic newborn.
R.I.P James Chance. A genuinely original artistic force. I was fortunate enough to be asked to be a âContortionâ alongside Jules Pascoe and Nick Martyn for a bunch of shows around Australia in 2016 (thanks Sean), which were a total gas. He was a sweet, eccentric and bewitching guy who kept me well and truly on my toes. I will drink a Baileys in your honour tonight, sir.
Rising Festival @rising.melbourne was nothinâ short of a solid gold time! Huge appreciation for the crew that make it all happen. You done great. đ
