Friends & Lovers is the opening track on my debut album coming out … tomorrow!! I wrote this song in a spiral of depression about the state of the world, and it pulled me out of that spiral and into hope, belief, and perseverance. Finding the breath to listen to the other side, find empathy, and build community so that we can walk into a brighter future ☀️

Singing for peace this spring 🙏🏻🌱. Last week I had the honor of guiding circle singing at @ecstaticdancenyc . Before we started the song, I asked people to share what they were planting and growing in their lives this spring. There was a resounding hope and prayer for peace, and this song came through.
With all the darkness that shrouds so many parts of the world, I am grateful to always turn back to singing in community to reenergize in the enduring journey towards peace and freedom.

This weekend still feels like a fairytale and so does being married to my soulmate 🧚🏼♂️
Our wedding was handmade and stitched with love by so many friends and family. Whenever I think back on those days, I am in awe of how many magicians are in my life. Makers and illuminators. Song catchers and dancing queens. When this community gathers, there is truly no limit to what is possible and I feel so honored to have experienced this time and time again.
As the weather warms there will be many opportunities for us to be together in community! I hope to see you in the sunlight or under a starlit sky sometime soon.
