AMSTERDAM—Anthony Gallery is pleased to announce “All My Jewelry,” a solo exhibition by Daniel Fleur. Opening May 22, 2026, the exhibition explores the intersection of beauty, material desire, and social hierarchy.
Fleur bridges art history and contemporary visual culture by applying the meticulous techniques of the Old Masters to modern fragments. In this series, the polished surfaces of jeweled adornments stand in sharp contrast to the softness of the body, creating a visual tension between material and flesh. Moving beyond his earlier ambiguity, Fleur engages directly with shared visual culture—from cinematic touchstones like Breakfast at Tiffany’s to icons such as Princess Diana and Pharrell Williams.
Through these works, adornment operates as a visual dialogue across multiple registers—intimate and performative, personal and collective. Objects of desire emerge as sites of negotiation, captured in the fleeting tension between the rush of acquisition and the eventual slip into the ordinary.
