With this audio-visual performance Simon Stuij and Daniël Eskens explore the interactions of sound, water and light. Sound is not just audible, but also visible. Water, close to a sound source, resonates in dynamic, unexpected patterns. As a listener, water is a body that receives, reflects and holds the shape of sound. By using bass guitar, water, projectors and speakers, Daniël and Simon create a world without clear distinctions between sound, image, light and water.

Be invited to an audio-visual performance of Simon Stuij and Daniël Eskens that explores interactions of sound, water and light. Composer and bassist Daniël Eskens will play songs from his solo album Songs for Paul, in conversation with the interactive installation The Shape of an Echo, created by musician and physicist Simon Stuij.
Radio Trapani, the electro-folk project of guitarist and producer Dario Trapani, will open with a soft and liquid solo set, sending ripples through our collective 50+% H2O and setting the mood for Simon and Daniël.
