A La Jolla residence where light, materiality, and coastal spirit work in balance. Our latest residence featured today on AD Italia.
The home tracks the rhythm of the Pacific, pairing refined craftsmanship with relaxed California coastal living. Every element was considered as a tactile journey through space, from bespoke furnishings crafted with exceptional artisans to architectural gestures that capture and reflect natural light.
Thank you to our client, Hill Construction, our artisans, and the editorial team at Architectural Digest Italia.

Set along the coastline of La Jolla, California, the project reimagines a mid-century beach house as a quiet study in light, material, and spatial clarity. Working within the constraints of the original 1950s structure, the design transforms the home into an immersive coastal retreat where architecture, interiors, and atmosphere operate as one continuous experience.
Grateful to the entire team, collaborators, craftspeople, and client who trusted us to help bring this vision to life. Thank you @thelocalproject for an excellent feature of our project.

We’re honored to be an @Architizer 2026 A+Awards finalist for our project Echo in two separate categories.
Help us win, vote for Echo in both the Residential Unbuilt - Private House (L >3000 sq ft) and Unbuilt Sustainable Residential Project categories - both links are in the bio.
Echo is a dialogue between mass and light, grounded in the Mojave and shaped by rhythm, shadow, and air. Conceived as an immersive sequence rather than an object, the home balances protection and openness through ribbed concrete, filtered light, and a central courtyard that breathes with the desert.

Palm Residence, featured as a cover story by Villegiardini
An exploration of atmosphere over form, where light, material, and composition shape a sequence of spaces that move between openness and intimacy.
Thank you to our clients and collaborators

Honored to be named a winner in the 2026 LUXE RED Residential Excellence in Design Awards, Beyond the Regions.
This space explores contrast and control. Warmth and precision. Classical proportion set against a contemporary sensibility. Materials are layered with intention, allowing light, reflection, and texture to shape the experience throughout the day. Every element, from the metalwork to the millwork, is calibrated to create a quiet intensity rather than overt spectacle.
The result is a room that feels composed yet alive. A place for gathering, but also for pause.
Grateful to our clients and collaborators for the trust to pursue something exacting and enduring.

At the edge of the Las Vegas Valley, where the city gives way to the desert, Fort 137 emerges as a contemporary interpretation of the region’s early fort structures.
A composition of stone-clad volumes organized around a central courtyard, the house is designed to feel embedded within the landscape, framing expansive views of Red Rock Canyon while tempering the Mojave climate through massing, shade, and passive strategies.
Anchored to the desert, yet open to it.

Finally received our printed copy of the April issue of Wallpaper Magazine, and I am deeply honored to see this residence featured as the cover story.
This project was shaped through a shared commitment to creating something thoughtful, timeless, and deeply personal. It was a privilege to work with Todd-Avery Lenahan, whose vision and trust helped make this home such a meaningful one for our studio. Together, we created a residence where antiquity and contemporary life exist in quiet dialogue, and where architecture serves as a calm framework for the art of living.
Grateful to @wallpapermag for the feature, and to everyone whose talent and dedication helped bring this home to life.

Some early glimpses inside Lacuna.
These interior studies explore the spatial atmosphere of the residence as it begins to take shape. Conceived as a quiet retreat in the desert, the project is organized around moments of compression and release, with carefully framed views, layered materials, and filtered natural light shaping the experience of each room.
More to come as the project continues to evolve.

A study in restraint.
A dialogue between what was and what could be.
Bound by the original 1950s footprint, this La Jolla residence became an exercise in precision, where every material, aperture, and line had to earn its place. Light becomes the medium. Craft becomes the language.
