We’re coming up on 2 months since finishing tour, and my feet are just starting to come down to earth again. I’ll be processing everything that happened over the last 2 years, good and bad, for a long time still, but going through footage and making this video reminded me of the pure joy and adrenaline that drove me on stage for these 96 shows. I would not have believed that one day I’d be touring the world in this way, 5 continents, cities I’d never imagined seeing, experiencing the love and connection with beautiful people, many of whom I called my family and friends, and for it to be my job. Very too much to process, very overwhelming, and a reminder that the come down from that takes time.
@samsmith thank you for truly making dreams come true for those of us on stage with you, and those who pour out their love to you and us from the audience every night. A feeling that should be bottled and held close forever.
I’ll probably be in bed a little while longer, and I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to process everything, but this is a start. And a small video that might start sharing what an intense experience this was.
