Daniela became well known for her role as Paula in Lantana for which she won a Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actress, an IF Award for Best Actress, and was nominated for an AFI Award for Best Supporting Actress.  She has also been widely acknowledged for her role in award winning feature film Look Both Ways, where she was nominated for an AFI Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her performance in short film The Widow, earned her multiple International Best Actress Awards across many International Film Festivals including NYC Two Roads FF, Venus Italian FF, and Hollywood South Film Festivals.
