“This is exactly what Edinburgh needs.”
Hearing those words will never stop feeling special.
When I first started Habits, I wanted to create the kind of events I wished existed, spaces that felt inspiring, beautifully put together, and full of people who just get it. I’d just moved back to Scotland after years abroad, and I knew that if I wanted to build a business I loved, I needed to find other like-minded creatives who understood the ups and downs.
The truth is, we’re all different. We each have our own strengths, challenges, and ways of doing things. But when you’re able to talk about that openly, to feel seen, and to build something alongside others, it changes everything.
Hosting this event with Catalog, and having the incredible support of HAY, made this one feel especially meaningful. We’re so proud of the creative community that’s forming around Habits, one that’s honest, thoughtful, welcoming, and full of people doing inspiring things in their own way.
There’s more to come, workshops, speaker nights, co-working, walks… But sometimes? You just need to throw a really great party 🖤
Thank you to all that were involved and our sponsors.
