REYES Dance presents 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐭 𝐍𝐨. 𝐀𝐓𝐄 on May 21st - 23rd, 2026 at ODC Theater. Thursday performance is a ticketed preview. Friday is opening night. Set to Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 8, String Quartet No. ATE explores food, pleasure and health. Coming up on Saturday, May 23, Halcyon Dance Project and BlackBox Studios will be presenting Smithereens Dance Salon. Smithereens Dance Salon is a mixed bill of contemporary dance featuring works by Oakland based choreographers Janice Garrett, ArVejon Jones, and Ryan Rouland Smith. Smithereens Dance Salon produces works by established and emerging choreographers with the goal of uplifting the presentation of contemporary dance in Oakland. May 23rd performances are at 3:00pm and 6:30pm. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each scheduled performance time and will close 5 minutes after scheduled start time.
