Hard to believe it’s a year since Casa Soleto was launched to the market.
The home is a 17th-century palazzo restored with reverence and restraint by @andrew.p.trotter and @marolce , tucked within the historic centre of Soleto in Puglia.
Other agencies in Puglia had struggled to show how they would present Casa Soleto in a way that reflected its significance – not only as a home, but as a work of design. Over a series of conversations with Andrew and Marcelo, we shared how our approach would differ: treating the sale not as a transaction but as a story to be told.
Our team travelled to Puglia to film and photograph the house, capturing the atmosphere of its spaces, its layered history and sensitive refurbishment, all enhanced by the special quality of the southern Italian light. But more than this, we also recorded Andrew’s story: how his experience renovating and living with Casa Soleto had resulted in a holiday house that, in his own words, “really feels like home”.
Back in London, we crafted a sales listing and built a campaign that brought together a six-minute hero film, journal features, photography and social storytelling – content that has since been viewed over 100,000 times.
The buyer first discovered the house through our film with Andrew — a clear example of considered content driving the right audience. From listing to sale was just nine weeks.
Today marks two incredible years owning and leading Aucoot.
Feeling proud of how far we’ve come and what we’re creating!
Thanks to everyone who’s helped us get here, you know who you are! Here’s a few sentimental snaps from along the way.
Excited for what’s next 🙌🏻
Yesterday we were featured in The Sunday Times @theststyle magazine, with some very kind words about how we’re evolving as a brand.
As my two-year “Aucoot” anniversary approaches, it feels slightly surreal reading about my journey and everything we’ve accomplished in such a short space of time. It’s also a reminder to pause and reflect on how far we’ve come - something I’m taking a moment to do today.
Friday marks day one of year three, and I still have so much more to give. While Style Mag may say “mission accomplished”, there’s plenty more around the corner, and it’s even more exciting.

Excited to be back in Puglia tomorrow, hosting viewings at @villacastelluccio .
We still have a few slots available for both in-person and video tours. Send me a DM to get booked in.
Loving the interiors of this recent listing in Walthamstow Village.
By shifting the internal wall between the living room and kitchen, the owners have created an extended, flowing living space — now combining a relaxed living area with a hotel-esque study.
The kitchen meanwhile has been reimagined through a full-width side return and a classic shaker-style kitchen.
Over the past 18 months, we’ve seen some exceptional results with the Edwardian homes that line the streets of E10.
There’s a charming elegance to this period of architecture that continues to resonate - wider proportions and a sense of ease that feels entirely suited to modern family life.
This particular home, which exchanged this week, set a new benchmark for the area. And yet, when you consider the quality of what’s been created, it still feels like remarkable value. To deliver an extension of this scale today would comfortably exceed £200,000, before even considering the time, energy and expertise required to get it right.
There’s something to be said for stepping into a home where the heavy lifting has already been done. Thoughtfully designed, carefully executed, and ready to be lived in - it remains one of the most popular ways to buy well in the current market.
What period of architecture do you find yourself drawn to?

A look back at one of my favourite sales of 2025.
Launched in September, this home in De Beauvoir Town generated exceptional interest, with two back-to-back open houses leading to multiple offers in excess of the guide price.
Once agreed, we worked quickly to exchange within two weeks and, with a strong push from all involved, completed just four weeks from launch.
Beautifully photographed and managed end-to-end by the senior team dedicated to this highly sought-after pocket of North London.
A joyful example of how colour, personality and a splash of camp grandeur can sit harmoniously under one roof.
A firm favourite of the team at Aucoot and one we quietly hoped we could have keep for ourselves 🤎
Highbury, N5
Breathing new life into what was once a collection of old used car garages, this detached home by @31_44 is a considered example of how a modern house can enhance both the landscape and the usability of an otherwise overlooked site.
The first house I saw after acquiring Aucoot, this listing has been a long time in the making, as the family gradually prepared to relocate back to Australia.
Back in 2024, we showcased the house through @opencity_uk as part of our Remarkable Homes collection. At the time, we released an interview with the sellers and opened the doors to more than 500 visitors over a single weekend.
Fast forward to now, and we’re excited to bring it to market. Like many of our listings, it’s available exclusively through our website and social channels.
Backing onto a peaceful park and the River Quaggy, it will suit anyone looking for architectural significance, a real sense of privacy, and a location perfectly placed for one of South East London’s most sought-after schools, Eltham College.
In a few weeks, our owner @dan.obrien will be heading out to Puglia to host an open house at our latest @studioandrewtrotter listing.
Villa Castelluccio is a serene retreat set within five acres of olive groves, just outside the whitewashed town of Ceglie Messapica.
This three-bedroom, three-bathroom home has been thoughtfully revived from a ruin, with local craftsmen using traditional techniques and materials. Today, it stands as both a much-loved private residence and a highly successful holiday rental, generating strong income for its current owner.
To arrange a viewing, either in person or via video, send us a DM or email [email protected].

When choosing a home, there is often much deliberation over whether to buy a property with potential or one that is truly turnkey.
While the idea of designing and moving into your own curated space sounds appealing, there is now far greater awareness of the associated costs, particularly with materials and labor.
Here in London Fields lies an opportunity to inherit a back-to-brick refurbishment by celebrated architects @dedraftlondon .
Instead of worrying about how much your own project may cost or how long it may take, you can simply put the kettle on and take in the view from your sun-drenched, west-facing garden.
