The Dam Jam Music Festival returns July 17–18 to the newly transformed Fish Ladder Music Park in Old Town Lansing — back to the space where the festival first showcased the power of live music, in-the-round of this iconic space. Now reimagined, the park sets the stage for an unforgettable two-day celebration of sound, community, and Michigan pride.
Featuring an all-Michigan lineup of homegrown talent, the Dam Jam showcases the depth and diversity of artists from across the state — spanning genres, styles, and voices that define Michigan’s music scene. Set against the unique backdrop of the Brenke Fish Ladder, audiences can expect an immersive festival experience with live music, food trucks, and a vibrant atmosphere along the river.

The Dam Jam Music Festival turns 10 this year, and while we had planned to kick off the inaugural concert at the reimagined Fish Ladder Music Park this September, the venue is not red-carpet ready just yet due to a delay in lighting parts essential for everyone’s safety.
But don’t worry, the DAM thing is still happening! We’re returning to where it all began along the riverfront at Rotary Park in Downtown Lansing.
