Updated my OK Color Picker Photoshop plugin (link in bio). With this picker you can change the saturation while maintaining the same lightness and hue (a miracle!), you can change the hue while maintaining the same lightness and saturation (it's true!), etc. Thank you to Lukas Hefti for creating the latest version. Björn Ottosson developed the OK Color Space, which the plugin is based on. Thanks to the RISD Color Lab & RISD Professional Development Fund for provided the original research funding. #photoshop #adobe #photoshopplugins #colortheory #plugin #color #risd #risdcolorlab

New project for the Redwood in Newport, RI. Opens Thursday along with selections from the Traina Collection of Photographs. “The Redwood Library and Athenaeum is America’s first purpose-built library (1747), and the oldest continuously operating in its original location. As such, it is the only remaining secular public cultural institution in this country with an unbrokenlink to the colonial period and the Nation’s founding. Housed in the earliest public Neoclassic building in the U.S., andcontaining Rhode Island’s first art gallery (1875), it has functioned for nearly three-hundred years as Newport’s intellectualcore, a humanities center and civic learning hub styled after ideals of ancient Athenian culture and philosophy.”
