Tonight was a full-circle moment. Feeling all the feels thinking about how grateful I am to do what I love, with artists I genuinely enjoy, for as long as I have. These photos were taken 10 years apart. The first was at The Ryman in 2015, just a year after I moved to Nashville. I was working for 44 Designs, loading in a Kacey Musgraves show as a local tech with almost no board experience. I remember standing side stage thinking how wild it was that I got to do ✨this✨ for a job. Fast forward to today: I ran lights at the Sydney Opera House for the same artist who played the night I first felt that overwhelming “I can’t believe this is my job” moment. Looking back at that younger version of me, I was wide-eyed, unsure, and just hoping I was doing something right. I don’t think younger me could’ve imagined how far this path would go. So yeah. Just really grateful. For the growth, and for these moments.

Summer tour dump! ☀️ 🌊 Had a blast this summer out with Little Big Town and one of THE nicest ( and most welcoming) crews in all of country music! Made some new friends, reconnected with old ones, + crossed paths with more spiders than I EVER needed. I promise there were lights ( big thanks to @claremathison @jasongiaffo + @4wall ) … this is all the other stuff. (Also, someone tell me I’m not the only LD whose camera roll looks like pic 10!)

Spring ‘25 🌱🌦️ I’ve been home for a little over a month now, but my spring was full of excitement, new levels unlocked and memories. I had the pleasure of working for an ABSOLUTE legend. Thank you to the team at @the.playground.creative for trusting me to care for this on the road and for @danedog823 for setting me up for success! Thanks to the amazing crew @upstaging_inc that really impressed folks by making sure that every single light was hung in the same place everyday😂 (@murphy.colind , @kendallclark611 , @hunteroyale , Nick, Ed, Mike, @theunreal2tone … You guys made this too easy. I’m spoiled)

With No Way To Ireland We Book Flights, Italy To Dublin. “ NOT POSSIBLE “ The Italians Have A Important Football Game The Following Day So The Italian Air Traffic Control Goes On Strike. Forcing Us To Take A Train From Florence Through The Swiss Alps ( Epic ) To Fly Out Of Zurich And Finally Land In Our Destination Of Dublin.

Fall ‘24 🍂✨ Long overdue… But the Deeper Well World Tour brought some really great memories and even better people! There’s something really special about working for an artist who intentionally works to create safe spaces for their fans AND their crew! @spaceykacey , @gribiche , @findandrepetrus & @simonthevideoguy created a beautiful, ethereal space for all of us to enjoy, and I am honestly so proud to have been a part of it.
