Kaden and I just finished our trip from California to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where we traveled to see the hot air balloon fiesta. Over 250 hot air balloons, ascended as the sunrise peaked over the mountains. We made pancakes and bacon as we sat on top of the hill in the most perfect spot to see the balloons. On our way there, we stopped in Flagstaff, Arizona, where we tried dispersed camping for the first time. The terrain was rough getting there and I didn’t know if we were going the right way, but it ended up being a beautiful spot. As we headed back home, we stopped at the Hualapi Mountain Park in Arizona. We were the only ones at the campsite and we had an amazing spot to see the sunrise, and we made a very delicious meal to end our camping trip.
