Hair design is inspired by a mixture of Alexander McQueen 1998 VH1 award acceptance look and by rat/ horse tails, a prominent hair style in Samoan culture.

Born in Indonesia of Peranakan descent (mixed Chinese and Malay/Indonesian heritage), they have lived in Los Angeles and New York since 2009, before relocating to Bali in 2023.
