@room212aberdeen from their legendary kitchen parties back in 2023, to selling out freshers events, Room212 have enjoyed bringing established and up and coming DJs to Aberdeen while giving as many new local DJs the opportunity to play what they want in a club. Sadly, all good things must come to an end so this will be the last ever event in Aberdeen...

THE FINAL 212: Next Saturday.
All good things come to an end, and after 3 years of throwing parties from student halls kitchens to unit51 and everything in between, we want to end our Aberdeen nights on a high with 5 hours of tunes in d2 🤝.
We’ve booked heaps of DJs: big names, up and coming producers and MCs while giving locals an opportunity to play their first club set. Always trying to keep things fresh and interesting with wacky ideas and less mainstream genres but without taking away the fun DIY vibes that we think we have maintained throughout.
To everyone who’s played a set, co-promoted an event, designed a poster, taken photos, or helped out in any other capacity over the years: thank you very much ❤️

whole load of bass back over at D2 in @cafedrummonds on thursday for the @homegrowntalentt DJ Night last week. sadly alot of the footage I had got corrupted from a damaged drive but still managed to get some shots of the sets of @li1h0_ and @liam___shaw plus a few other shots of the night. love to all and more to come soon. been on a bit of a break due to deadlines and assessments. While it's very nice to see that people are not really paying attention to their phones and recording while on the dancefloor, if you have any sneaky discreete footage, feel free to send it over to me. This party was epic, one for the books ✌️
This final party for the first season of @danzacatartica was absolutely brilliant! @lucas.a.v__ readaptation of @rob_halhead work was the best thing. Well done for resourcing a CRT screen and truly understanding the inspiration and mission of these parties. We have really enjoyed the music and it felt to me as good as a b2b.
Also, while other times high BPM experimental tracks might have not fitted the flow of the music and crowd, I was really pleased to see how the end of the 4hrs set went, with tracks that I was dying to play. There was some sorcery from @aphextwin.afx , @upsammy_ & @valentina_magaletti , @djrum_felix , @crossing_avenue and @mike_parker_geophone
Watch this space for future events, it might take some time for a return, which should be expected towards the end of 2026, at the earliest.
Ultimately, it's about making these parties, sustainable and remaining true to its value base.

I'm dropping here a few albums
Some of these are staples, whereas others might be tracks that I always wish to play but haven't gotten the chance yet. I will also have with me brand new releases, one of these is certainly going to be Mike Parker's new album, which I am super excited to play towards the end of the 4hr set
