What a lovely surprise. A month ago, as part of the official launch, I asked London Movie Awards to review Betrayed. It must have passed me by that by asking them to review the film, I would also be entering it in to the festival. I am therefore delighted that Betrayed has picked up it's 41st win. Congratulations once again to all involved!

#sundaypaper 🗞️ repost from @threeriversbexley This morning we’ve got some Fantastical Fiction for you written by our Community Critic, Dagmar Scheibenreif, & featured in the second issue of our newspaper - The Bexley Responder! 📖 Dagmar’s short fiction “The Whispers of Wisdom” was inspired by the sometimes eerie landscapes of Thamesmead, & the folk-realism of their writing overlays contemporary city lives on the older backdrop of folklore that emerges from the new town’s location in the borderlands between London & Kent 🧚‍♀️ Dagmar joined our Critics Club last year, which is a creative writing programme & bursary that supports people living, working & studying in the borough to publish their thoughts & opinions on local arts & culture in our newspaper. ✍️ For this edition of Critics Club we teamed up with Clem MacLeod, the founder of Worms Magazine (@worms.mag ) who introduced our critics to an approach to art criticism based on what you feel, rather than how much you know - what we call ‘Writing from the Guts’. Look out for our next Critics Club Open Call coming very soon 👀 The Bexley Responder is an annual community newspaper, written by local people & published by Three Rivers, with support from @acegrams through their national #creativepeopleandplaces programme. Issue 2 has been designed by @caitlin_mcloughlin_
