MeetĀ Franklin MarvalāVenezuelan-born artist, designer, and founder ofĀ Cyanta Studio
@cyanta.studio .
Raised inĀ San TomĆ©, Venezuela, Franklinās love for landscapes and nature continues to shape his visual language. After the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013, he began incorporating hearts into his work as a daily practice of healingāan ongoing reminder thatĀ More Love Is Okay
@moreloveisok ā¤ļø
Today, that message lives across murals, design projects, public art, and community workshops encouraging unity, celebrating diversity, and leading with positivity. Through his studio he offers his talents and graphic design services. We actually have the pleasure of working with Franklin on severalĀ art and design projects at Comfort Kitchen including menu designs and our ceiling mural.
During our visit to Cyanta Studio, Franklin talks about keeping open an arts school for children in need in Venezuela, painting flowers on top of vintage action movie posters in the CK bathroom, and how art becomes a way to imagine a more loving future.
Weāre proud to spotlight Franklin
@fmarval as part of ourĀ Roots to RiseĀ seriesācelebrating the creatives whoāve grown with us and continue to shape our shared sense of place š«¶
