I worked on this piece for @andahalfph 's SPDP 2021 conference. Super honored to have contributed this little guy to their event! The illustration uses science as a visual metaphor, exploring the idea of the reactions between creatives; the work that we produce and the energy that we gain from and give off to each other. Good art and design can affect us on a more personal and emotional level, which in turn moves us to create the same. Art and design are essential for our collective growth as a society! 😃

Un matrimonio piccolo e gioioso 🥂
Last November 8, two of my closest friends were married! It was a lovely and joyful occasion with family, friends, food, and drink aplenty.
It was such a delight to work on these illustrations along with a few other friends to celebrate the union of @timounea and @josh_pace 🙏 we wanted to highlight the Italian garden wedding theme, which resonated closely with the bride, while also referencing elements from their relationship and travels as a couple.
Sitting around a hearty meal, having fellowship together, and asking my friends 'What do you need me to draw?' will surely be a core memory from this year. Loved every moment of it 💙
The brilliant @jtobijah and @iciatadiar handled the creative direction, curation, graphic design, and website for the event. An amazing tandem in all aspects!

The theme for submission was to create a typographic poster that incorporated the work 'tayo' meaning 'we' or 'let us' in English, depending on the context.
