This might just be the scariest thing I have ever done…but if Cupid doesn’t visit Nakupenda Island, who will? 💘
Cupid — the god of love.
Nakupenda — “I love you.”
My dress with the breeze formed a “heart shape” 💘by itself! I was moved to tears at the sight of that particular shot because it wasn’t planned . 😭
This isn’t just a beach, I t’s an island in the middle of nowhere 🏝️
And yes, I actually sailed out here… equal parts fear, thrill, “God, I trust You” energy and with all the Quranic Surahs that I know for protection.🤣🏃🏾♀️
But somewhere between the waves and the wind, it stopped being about the adrenaline…
and became about awe and I was able to spin for fun !🫢 💃🏾
Completely immersed in God’s creation I was Grateful, humbled and thankful. Still in wonders of the Almighty 🙇🏾♀️
Nature really has a way of reminding you who’s really in charge. I couldn’t stop saying “Allahu Akbar”
