🌱💌 hello community 💌🌱 We at CUAV are a team of peer advocacy counselors who do free trainings for community on Supporting Queer and Trans Survivors’ Self-Determination, Understanding Violence, Trans 101/Gender 101 and Wellness Skills Workshops. During these interactive trainings, participants will become familiar with the dynamics in LGBTQIA2S+ domestic violence (DV) and intimate partner violence (IPV). These trainings are intended for service providers and commmunity. nature is healing 💚 ִֶָ𓂃 ࣪˖ 🍃 ִֶָ་༘࿐ photos from our recent trip to guerneville. together we escaped the city for a bit and walked through the forest, realizing how quiet everything was. we saw some banana slugs and many fungi, and went to the amphitheater to discuss our recent 40 hour training for queer and trans folks on fundamental of healing and community leadership. so grateful for the chances we spend together like this 🍃 ִֶָ𓂃 ࣪˖ 🍃 ִֶָ་༘࿐🍃

Come learn, connect, and create art with us in a space dedicated to healing and empowerment. We played a few games, took some holiday photos, shared gratitude for each other, and opened some gifts! We are thankful we have each other as community during this time. 🎁 CUAV will be closed for business from December 23rd to January 3rd. Si ICE te detiene en la calle: 🚫 Tienes derecho a no mostrar identificación. 🚫 Puedes negarte a responder preguntas. 🚫 Pregunta: “¿Estoy detenido?” Si la respuesta es no, puedes pedir irte.
