@heytacowestport & guess what… everything on the menu is SEED OIL FREE and features high end ingredients, and a health-forward approach. It’s fast casual Mexican fare done RIGHT!
Expect all the common Mexican fare like tacos, burritos, bowls, enchiladas, flautas, nachos, chips and guac, but this chef driven menu from Chef Hector, most recently chef at
@jujucantina in Old Greenwich, is anything but standard Mexican.
Think slow-cooked Short Rib Birria Tacos, Mahi-Mahi Taco with jicama slaw & cranberry sauce, Crispy Nachos loaded with Chicken Tinga, “Build Your Own Bowls,” a beautiful Mango & Avocado Salad, and the perfect Steak Burrito.
Co-owner Malin says “we wanted to be a little bit healthier,” so beef tallow has replaced canola oil, and in their frying, they use organic fera fruit oil, extracted from the fruit grown on hybrid American oil palm and the African oil palm trees. They are also VERY allergen-friendly.
