What an unbelievable day. I have woken up absolutely exhausted but filled with so much gratitude towards all of the performers, bar staff, audience members, DJs, photographers, sound engineers and everyone that has supported the Crowds Like Us all-dayer.It was a heart-warming day filled with love, collaboration, warmth, intrigue and depth. Though I was running around as if my legs were on fire, I managed to catch almost everyone performing, and couldn't believe the wealth of talent on offer. I felt like a small part of an incredibly supportive network of people, a scene consisting of people that care deeply about their instruments and practices. It was truly inspiring.I have nothing but gratitude, huge bags under my eyes, a head cold and a smile plastered to my face.There are far too many people to tag in this post so I don't think I can begin to attempt it, but I will be posting up bits from the event intermittently.Much love one and all.

@thebasementpresentsmusic This stylish gentleman does such an incredible amount for the Leicester music scene, with so many community-oriented music projects bringing people together. He is a very talented human with truly warm energy and a drive to allow others to creatively express themselves and their individuality through music. He has also been helping with this event, and I really appreciate his time and efforts. If you have not yet been to Jazz on Vinyl, you are in for a massive treat!! @kvader86 is an incredibly important figure in the Midlands music scene, as an artist, supporter, musician, promoter and much more.He is also known for his incredible photography, and over many years, he has documented the changing face of the Leicester jazz scene. For the first time, Kulvir will be exhibiting his photography at our all-day, and will be selling prints of his work.Make sure to come and see the Leicester jazz evolution shown in a beautiful, artistic and captivating way at our first ever all-day festival.
