Honoured to share that I’ve been awarded the Midlands Jazz, Young Musician Commission 2026.
I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity as it gives me the time and space to develop my original music over the coming months and bring the project to life in its fullest form.
I’m especially thankful to be mentored by jazz piano legend @robertmitchellmusic and to be working alongside an incredible band!
We’ll be sharing the project pre-recording on March 25th at one of my favourite Nottingham venues @jamcafe 🔥🔥
More to be announced soon!

Earlier this month, the mjazz Board came together for an Away Day — a vital moment to pause, reflect, and reimagine our purpose and mission.
The world is changing, and so are the conditions for the arts. At mjazz, we’re responding with care, curiosity, and strategic intent. This Away Day marked the beginning of a longer journey — one that will ensure we remain rooted in our values while evolving to meet new challenges and opportunities.
We asked big questions, revisited our core purpose, and began shaping a vision that will guide us — and the wider East Midlands jazz scene — into a bold, inclusive, and sustainable future.
This is just the start.
Stay tuned.
