🚨 Comment "Support" to help Moggies Cat Rescue 🐱 Moggies Cat Rescue started 14 years ago when two ladies in Aberdare, South Wales used their own pensions and savings to rescue cats and kittens in need. Since becoming a registered charity in 2024, they've rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed over 150 cats and kittens.
But every day they receive 20 to 30 requests for help and they're running out of space in their foster homes.
Now they're raising funds to build a dedicated rescue centre with quarantine rooms, specialist recovery spaces, kitten rooms, an on-site medical suite and space for volunteers and education placements.
With the brilliant @missdianemorgan as their patron, they need your help to make this a reality and rescue even more cats and kittens who have nowhere else to go 🐾

🍞 On 23 February, fire broke out at Dunbar Community Bakery, a community-owned hub on the High Street that's been serving fresh bread, cakes and warm welcomes since 2011.
Thanks to quick action by staff and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, no one was injured, but the kitchen and rear of the building suffered significant fire and water damage. The bakery is currently unable to trade.
With insurance claims likely to be complex and prolonged, the bakery still faces ongoing bills, staff wages and maintenance costs with no income coming in.
