We are delighted to share some beautiful pictures of our newest piece “Bioluminescence”, which premiered at @tanzhauszuerich in July. All pictures by @mayar.elbakry Image1 The stage is dark. A with the several elements glowing under ultraviolet lighting, the painted wheelchair wheels and their white tracks, the floor is adorned with confetti that glow in an orange hue, which look like embers. The performers have scattered the confetti across the stage and are now dancing together. Roy Fischer as Crispy, is holding a bag and is scattering more confetti by twirling around himself. Behind the performers the words “I Spin a pillow in the air, beautiful sparks everywhere.” are projected against the curtain. Image2 The stage is dark, but several elements glow under ultraviolet lighting: A neon earring, embroidery on trousers, bright orange splatters and lining on pillows, a phone, painted wheelchair wheels and their white tracks on the floor, white or pale green clothes and a white curtain. Roy Fischer as Crispy, Bri Deeprose as Memory, Nina Mühlemann as Wooosh and Edwin Ramirez as Ringo move across the stage in different directions. Image3 The performers are standing in a line, after the show, and are getting ready for their bows. The stage is dark, but all of the lights on the front are shining on them. From left to right: Flor Mechain is looking relieved with their arms beside them. Bri Deeprose, has her arms folded behind her back, with a smile on her face. Roy Fischer has one hand outstretched, as if to shake the audiences hand. Nina Mühlemann is smiling with their eyes closed. Edwin Ramirez is looking down at their pants, seemingly confused. Monika Goldefusova is signing with a big smile on her face. Next to Monika there is a skull, whose eye sockets were filled with orange confetti.

We are delighted to share some beautiful pictures of our newest piece “Bioluminescence”, which premiered at @tanzhauszuerich in July. All pictures by @mayar.elbakry Image1 The four performers stand spaced apart in a line. Flor Mechain as Clack and Nina Mühlemann as Wooosh are facing each other, pretend-fencing. Next to them Edwin Ramirez as Ringo has their eyes closed and both arms crossed in front of their head. Roy Fischer as Crispy is to their right. His legs are spread apart, the head turned down towards his arms. His hands are outstretched above his knee. To his right, Monika Goldefusova as Shhh is watching them from a sitting island made of bean bags and fabric. In front of the performers lies Patricia, a turtle formed out of grey weighted blankets. Behind them, the words “Fence in slow motion” are projected against the curtain, and Bri Deeprose as Memory is faintly visible behind the curtain. Image 2 All performers are moving on stage: Nina Mühlemann as Wooosh and Flor Mechain as Clack are blurred because they are in motion, pretend-fencing with each other. Edwin Ramirez as Ringo is facing away from the audience, waving their arms in the air. Roy Fischer as Crispy has his arms stretched out wide and bends one leg. Around them, blue pillows of various sizes—speckled with neon paint and trimmed with luscious velvet in shades of blue, green, and purple—are scattered across the stage. Behind them, Bri Deeprose as Memory is visible through a translucent veil. She looks ready for action, in gym teacher mode, giving the other performers instructions. Her words “Yes – everyone is doing it their own way” are projected onto the veil.

We are delighted to share some beautiful pictures of our newest piece “Bioluminescence”, which premiered at @tanzhauszuerich in July. All pictures by @mayar.elbakry Image 1 Edwin Ramirez as Ringo and Nina Mühlemann as Wooosh are sitting in their wheelchairs and facing each other. They are coordinating their movements and working together to transport a big blue beanbag on their laps. The only thing keeping the beanbag from falling on the floor is them staying close together. Their expressions are focused. Behind them, the white curtain has turned transparent and Bri Deeprose as Memory can be seen sitting behind it. Image2 The stage is dark and lit in red. The ensemble is sitting in a half circle, from left to right: Nina Mühlemann as Wooosh, Roy Fischer as Crispy, Flor Mechain as Clack and Edwin Ramirez as Ringo. They look at each other while reciting a poem. Monika Goldefusova as Shhh is standing next to them, signing towards the audience. Behind them, the surtitles “Make of four one” are projected onto a curtain which is lit in blue at the bottom, then fading into red tones. A dim outline of Bri Deeprose as Memory can be seen through the curtain.

We are delighted to share some beautiful pictures of our newest piece “Bioluminescence”, which premiered at @tanzhauszuerich in July. All pictures by @mayar.elbakry Image1 Edwin Ramirez as Ringo and Roy Fischer as Crispy are kneeling across from each other on the floor. Between them there is a weighted blanket, that Crispy has formed into a turtle. Each one has their hands on one side of the turtle and together they are moving it and guiding it, across the stage. Crispy is looking closely at the turtle, while Ringo is looking at the path ahead. The picture was taken with the photographer on the floor, making us feel like we are in the middle of the action and letting us see the intimacy of this scene up close. Image2 Roy Fischer as Crispy is holding the neon green sheer skirt, with a stripe of dark green net and neon coloured embroideries. that he is wearing in his hands and looking at it closely. Crispy is a tall, skinny white man, wearing a face mask around his neck, that is also wearing a distressed, brown knitted jumper with large holes. It has the words comforting in the front.underneath he is wearing a brown t-shirt with a hamster peeking through the holes of the jumper. He also wears brown trousers with foil on it. He is wearing large, silver moon boots. Next to him there is a mound of blue pillows.

We are delighted to share some beautiful pictures of our newest piece “Bioluminescence”, which premiered at @tanzhauszuerich in July. All pictures by @mayar.elbakry IMG1 The stage is dark, with the four performers resting on and next to a mountain of beanbags and pillows. The light is sparse and limited to a few bright spots on the mountain and another spot on Monika Goldefusova as Shhh, who is signing. She is wearing a brown short-sleeved shirt and a light-green skirt with white sneakers, matching the post-apocalyptic vibe. Behind the performers, the surtitles are displaying the words “are welcome in this place.” on a white curtain, which is lit in purple at the bottom. IMG 2 The stage is dark. Four performers are resting on and next to a mountain of beanbags and pillows of various sizes—speckled with neon paint and trimmed with luscious velvet in shades of blue, green, and purple. From left to right: Nina Mühlemann is playing Wooosh and their feet are peeking out from behind a wheelchair, with a beanbag on it, that is blocking the view from the rest of their body. To their right, Edwin Ramirez as Ringo is sleeping on the floor, next to the mountain. Flor Mechain as Clack is laying with their back leaned on the mountain, wearing a prominent pink face-mask and has a green wheelboard next to them. Leaning on the right side of the mountain Roy Fischer as Crispy is laying sideways, looking peacefully as he rests. Behind the left side of the mountain, there is a white curtain. In front of the performers, a bit apart form the mountain, a red fur-vest is laying on the floor, with a set of bells next to it.
