Detroit, i still don’t have the words to form about what transpired this past Sunday. This has been in the works for almost 2 yrs. If you would’ve told me three years ago that Detroit showed me so much love….I would’ve thought you were LYING. It’s crazy too because on event day, I literally didn’t think a lot of people would show but when they did it make me emotional. I wanna thank my spiritual team 🥹 Special thank you to @designcoredet and being apart of this amazing design festival. @cecesbu + @ash_jsg thank you both for being my LIGHT during this process. Your sweet affirmations and assistance really helped me get to this point. Shoutout my exhibition coach, Suzanne Fischer for being a light to me in this process! CUSP served as a love letter to all creatives and myself. It showed 9 years of a journey told through design. You were able to see the full evolution of @livesoreem including the not so pretty moments. What I’ve learned through it all is that you have to have darkness to get to the light. We even debuted DAWN, the new collection!! Ahhh. Man. I hope it inspired you to give you your own flowers and taught you to stay resilient and BOLD.
