🧩Give me a green emoji for a chance to receive my spare copy of “Chartreuse The Liqueur” book (I’ll pick at random next week) 🧩 Do you celebrate? 🎉 Today is considered by many in my field as a High Holy Day. 💚 May 16th expressed in the euro style as 16/05 represents the foundation date of the inimitable alpine liqueur Chartreuse in 1605 by the Carthusian monks. 🍃 I made this video after a trip to the monastery and distillery a few years ago. 🐸 The hoarding persists but seems to be subsiding. 🌱 I’d love to hear your thoughts. 💭 #Green #Chartreuse #France

🌿 If there’s no pimento wood, is it even jerk? The rub and the marinade matter — but they’re not the whole story. Pimento wood is seasoning too. The smoke isn’t just the heat that cooks the chicken; it’s part of the flavor. Most “jerk chicken” skips that layer. Not wrong — but not real jerk.
