Last week in Galway, Ireland, during the FÍS Game Summit 🎮 – we felt that we received plenty of inspiration and new perspectives ✨
One highlight was Anna Brandberg’s session on Rapid Prototyping 101: UX Skills for Every Team 🧠 A strong reminder that prototyping isn’t just a design step - it’s a communication tool. 💬Especially clickable prototypes help teams align faster, test ideas earlier, and reduce uncertainty before development even begins ⚡
We also joined the roundtable on Human-made Craftsmanship in a World of GenAI 🤖 It was incredibly valuable to hear how different game studios are approaching AI - from cautious integration to more experimental workflows.
At the same time, we shared our own experiences, which sparked honest discussions about where AI truly adds value (and where it doesn’t) ⚖️ These insights connect closely with what we’ve been exploring through the XBorder Support4Games project 🌍where collaboration, experimentation, and knowledge-sharing across borders are key 🤝

Being able to exchange perspectives with other studios in person added a whole new dimension to that work 💡We’re also grateful for the opportunity to be part of a broader network supported by Interreg Aurora 🌌, which continues to open doors for dialogue, collaboration, and learning across regions 🚀

Sharing insights on Gamification at Teknik- & Designdagen at Dagar i Norr 🌲🎮
We were so happy to have been part of this year's Teknik- & Designdagen in Skellefteå. Our colleague, Kristofer Stenskog ⭐ , represented Creative Crowd on stage to discuss a topic close to our hearts: Gamification. 💫
During his session, Kristofer shared the journey of our project, Skogsspelet (The Forest Game) which is a collaboration project with IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and Skogforsk. We believe that by applying game mechanics to complex industries like forestry 🌲 , we can create more intuitive, engaging, and sustainable solutions for the future.
Events like these are vital for the continued growth of the tech and design community in Northern Sweden, and we are happy to contribute our perspective to the conversation. Thank you Dagar i Norr for organizing this! ✨

Previous week, our colleague Erik had the opportunity to attend VP Gathering 2026 🎬✨ - a unique meeting point for creators, studios, and technologists shaping the future of virtual production, hosted at Breda University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
Across three days of inspiring talks, hands-on sessions, and great conversations, the event brought together a vibrant community exploring new ways of storytelling, collaboration, and real-time production 🚀
The experience strongly connects to the work we are doing within the Aurora Reel Accelerator supported by @interregaurora for straightening the next generation of creative talent and exploring how new technologies are transforming storytelling and production workflows.
