We were delighted to win Best Industry Collaboration with People with Disability or who are d/Deaf at the inaugural Creative Brisbane Awards last week! 🏆 We established a new benchmark for inclusive cultural experiences of scale through our work as producers of the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols and couldn’t be more thrilled to have the tremendous achievements of our team acknowledged through this award. We are so proud of our whole Carols team for believing we could deliver a Christmas for every body. Our eternal thanks to Madeleine Little and Shannon Kettleton for their guidance and expertise and our collaborators Brisbane City Council and Nine Network for an incredible four years. Thanks @creativebrisbane for this recognition! 🫶🏼

Great awards events should celebrate and inspire – sharing the stories of the best of the best. That was certainly true at the inaugural Creative Brisbane Awards at Brisbane City Hall last night that showcased nine extraordinary collaborations between industry, academia and creatives that have and are changing our city and region (and beyond) for the better. Congratulations to our winners (the full list can be found at .au) and especially to the recipient of the inaugural City of Brisbane Award for Outstanding Creative Contribution, the amazing Yaron Lifschitz, Artistic Director and CEO of Brisbane’s global phenomenon, Circa. @circapresents @creativebrisbane

To be able to host a great event, you firstly need a great venue and the Collab. is delighted to announce that it will be holding its inaugural Creative Brisbane Awards in The Ithaca Room at City Hall on Tuesday 28 April. Proudly supported by @brisbanecitycouncil , the awards have been designed to celebrate outstanding partnerships that support a vibrant cultural life in Brisbane, across various arts and cultural forms, with a focus on collaborations; to highlight the diverse and rich cultural offerings of Brisbane; to encourage innovation in partnerships between the cultural and corporate sectors and highlight the benefits of partnerships and investment in arts and cultural programs; and to provide a platform for artists and cultural institutions to gain recognition and visibility. If you’d like to support the inaugural awards, we have a couple of sponsorship spots left - link in our bio to find out how or please contact us at: [email protected] #cbc #creativebrisbanecollab #cbcawards #dreamboldly
