Reframed: Seeing Charlotte Through the Lens — Student Exhibition & Showcase 📷 Charlotte Through a New Lens 📷 After 8 weeks of deep exploration and creative growth, the students of Reframed are ready to show you the Queen City like you’ve never seen it before. Join us at the Harvey B. Gantt Center (@hbganttcenter ) for a powerful culminating exhibition showcasing the unique perspectives, street photography, and visual narratives of our talented participants. Guided by local photographer Donald Sanchez (@donaldsanchezphotography ) and in partnership with Creating Exposure through the Arts (@creatingexposure ) these students have captured the extraordinary within the everyday. We have available seats. come join our FREE Adult 18+ Ditigal Photography & Videography Workshops sponsored by @asccharlotte Culture Blocks— a community partnership funded by Mecklenburg County starting at the Arbor Glen Regional Outreach Center on Saturdays thru March 28th. @creatingexposure will host free workshops that will teach adults (18 and over) various aspects of photography, videography and content creation. The program will include lessons on components of a digital camera, composition, rule of thirds, and taking better pictures. We will also introduce lessons in content creation, video capture, videography and components of the film industry. Participants will get hands-on training, explore diverse artistic perspectives, develop an understanding capturing image, video content and completing a short video/film project. NO CAMERA NEEDED. If you are a beginner or intermediate photographer? This workshop is ideal for you! Join an eight-week course to learn how to capture Charlotte’s essence through photography. Participants will delve into technical concepts and gain insight into the history and key figures of street photography. Led by our experienced instructors, students will get hands-on shooting experience and create a personal project to showcase in a final exhibition. Session dates are December 13 & 20, January 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31, and February 7.
