Hi everyone, my name is Casey and I’m dedicating this account to the journey I decided to take at the beginning of 2025. I decided I was sick of feeling the way I felt and realized that I needed to make a change (since I was now 30 😭). It started with movement, and really came together in the kitchen. Now as a 31 year old and fully dedicated to this way of life I’d like to use this account to show anyone that you can be who you want to be if you become accountable to yourself. This #transformation involved #goodnutrition #kettlebells and #running all of which have become essential parts of my life. I hope this page gives you the #inspiration to begin your own journey towards your best self.

Under hand sneak walk recalibrating locomotion after a long run feels about right. Legs feeling a little wobbly but it’s also a nice way to ensure that I’m not going to stiffen up too much later today. #ropeflow #ropeflowcommunity #strava #halfmarathon #running

Some new tricks I was practicing this morning. Adding a juggle to some swings in between reps. Tension and positioning, and keeping your eye on the ball as people like to say. Snatch/juggle with the 16kg and goblet squat thruster/ juggle with the 20kg. Feel like I could up the weight on both after figuring out the cadence today At the end of the day, my favorite thing about kettlebells and calisthenics is the nature of play which is incorporated into functional training. It’s like learning to move as a human, which comes natural as children, but relearning it as an adult is fun, too #kettlebells #kettlebelljuggling #kettlebellcommunity #kettlebellfun #movement

5kg club/ 10kg mace putting pressure on the places that push progress. Haven’t played much with the club, but cross body throwing and punching motions can be given just the right amount of load to see where mobility is at through the shoulders and spine. The mace on the other hand gives me a good idea of how well I’m incorporating strength into compromised positions and whether I can correct posture on the fly. Both are fantastic tools and I’ve barely scratched the surface and have many improvements to make #kettlebells #macebell #macebellflow #kettlebellclub #rotationalstrength

Can’t shake loose… the feeling that rope flow has become quite the addiction. In between engaging and disassociating I find that weaving my way through the motions has become one of the most fun things I do movement wise. Navigating the patterns and putting my body where it needs to be, a good metaphor for life. This was parts of this mornings play #ropeflow #ropeflowcommunity #ropeflowjourney #movement #play

Two weeks in and I’m back to normal palette pleasure. My body isn’t craving sugar like it was last month, and I’m not consuming multiple chocolate chip cookies with peanut butter daily, that’s winning. It’s weird that I even got astray from the simple stuff because it’s so damn satisfying This week in meal prep: ground turkey and some chicken thighs with onions and peppers, served with potato and an avocado, low cal hot sauce. Simple. Lock in and ascend baby #lockin #nutrition #mankibble #boydinner

Sometimes I get locked in to a too rigid way of perception, could be movement related, could be moral or ethical, could be identity based, or it could be whose the GOAT basketball player (it’s Jordan), but I realize when I start doing that i need to switch it up, because self righteousness is where creativity goes to die. Thank you @movingmuscle for posting about loaded rope flow the other day it inspired me to switch things up a bit. Rope flow is definitely a different beast under a kettlebell load but it was fun trying to process the patterns this morning and still needs some work. #lockin #kettlebell #ropeflow #movement #patterns

Great hack for managing screen time as well as getting in a little bit of extra productive brain time. Do some fiction some non fiction, heck tread your smut if it keeps you off your phone for a few extra minutes a day. I’ve been trying to adopt this habit the last few months and my screen time is down significantly, and I’m already a book and a half in just in the car, it’s good stuff #lock in #bringabook #productivity #productivityhack #reading

Cross body movements are honestly goated. Balance and coordination under load benefit athletics as a whole but especially throwing and combat sports. These are three of my favorite #kettlebell movements that combine eccentric and concentric movement. At the confluence of coordinating positions and managing load are movements like this, and they’ll really test where you’re at with both. And of course #ropeflow is a goated rotational movement. As I improve and learn more about it, it’s becoming fundamental inter-set movement, keeps everything fluid and keeps that heart rate up #outdoorfitness #fitnesscontent #lockin

Working that matador/sneak combo is elite for allowing the rope to be where it needs to be and adjusting positions to facilitate that. It’s a good metaphor for life. Life’s going to do what it wants to do, putting yourself in a position to facilitate that and maximize the ease with which you move through it is where the magic happens. #ropeflow is super grounding for me, it induces a state of being where I’m almost dancing, up here, down there, a spin right there, and all the sudden it’s brings on a choreography of its own, but in large part is spontaneous and improvised. It keeps me light on my feet and light in my soul, allowing me to go throughout my day on the same wavelength, which just makes life easier #mobility #ropeflowcommunity #balance #intuitivemovement

Type 2 fun> Fun fact, I PR’d at 10k this morning despite not even wanting to run. Just goes to show that perseverance is everything. Running is no greater example of this, as I train for marathon+ I get to see tons of runners on here like @amglaze @eliwehbe and @cameronrhanes running 100s of miles. It really paints the picture of perseverance, and inspires me to be even more disciplined in how I operate. Greatness doesn’t happen in a vacuum and while you may DNF a race that option is unavailable for life. So I will go anyways #running #lockin #discipline #marathontraining #trailrunner

Ended up repping out 10+ sets of the double swings/ snatches, looks a little sketch but those edges will smooth out over time. What’s important is I was able to do something I wasn’t sure I could do. And if that’s not what locking in is about then I don’t know. Kettlebell training has been a game changer. It feels more linear than traditional lifting as far as moving up weight and going through the motions of figuring out how to do this or that, without overthinking rep ranges or weight. I still kick myself for not starting sooner, maybe today I’d be putting my body weight over my head instead of if I locked in 3 years ago like I intended to, but that’s not how life goes and I’m just #happytobehere #kettlebells #lockin #discipline #fitnesscontent
