3 years straight of completing Moab 240 & don’t plan to stop anytime soon. Every year my times have improved drastically. This year was no different, they improved again, but I had planned to finish in the low 70s. Mother Nature had different plans with flash floods, storms & brutal conditions & I’m ok with it. The arena doesn’t give a f*ck about your goals, your timeline, or your perfect conditions. It strips away your plans & tests what you’re truly made of when everything goes to shit. I will continue doing things that test my limits through voluntary suffering. That’s how you learn what you’re capable of when comfort disappears & only willpower remains. Most people signing up for shit like this aren’t here to win, they’re here to see how far they can go & what they’ll take from the experience. That’s the real victory. The majority will never understand choosing pain over comfort, choosing growth over safety, choosing the arena over the sidelines. They’ll stay comfortable making excuses while we discover what we’re truly made of. Every mile of suffering teaches you something about yourself that comfort never could. Every moment you want to quit but don’t builds the mental toughness that separates the 0.0001 percent from everyone else. As I always say, seek discomfort or discomfort will seek you. Better to face it on your terms than have life force it on you when you’re not ready. The mission continues. #NoFinishLine #Moab240 #ultrarunning #ultramarathon

240+ miles conquered. Moab 240 2025 complete. Flash floods, rain, sticky mud, storms, hail & every shitty condition mother nature could unleash. 84 hours 57 minutes & some change of pure suffering. Wouldn’t have wanted this race to end or be any other way than exactly how it went. The arena delivered what it promised, relentless punishment, problem solving under pressure & the chance to prove what you’re made of when everything goes to hell. This wasn’t just a race, it was survival through Moab’s most brutal terrain while nature tried to break every single one of us. I normally post a hard photo of myself at the finish, but I gotta thank @davidgoggins for the last day chase down & humor in sportsmanship. That was fun as f*ck. 2 dudes just being themselves, zero excuses, grinding through the pain, getting the work done. Nothing but respect for one another. Was I pissed during the race about flash floods & sticky mud destroying my goal times? Absolutely, but I’m grateful for every brutal mile of those conditions. Anyone who finished this year’s Moab is a certified BEAST. The weather separated the committed from the comfortable & those who crossed that line earned every f*cking step. The broken toe from day one? Forgot about it after mile 50 when everything else started screaming. These races aren’t built for comfort, they’re built to strip away everything except your willpower & show you what you’re truly capable of when quitting looks easier than continuing. Do hard things. Chase discomfort. Test your limits when everyone else is making excuses from their couches. You won’t regret finding out what you’re made of. The mission continues. #NoFinishLine @1stPhorm @darcsport @darcsportathletics 📸: @shapirothehero #Moab240 #moab #ultrarunner #ultrarunning

Proud to finally announce that my memoir MASK is now available for pre-order. LINK IN BIO!   Writing this book gave me the courage to embrace living in my authentic truth in a world where “fakeness” is normalized…   I hope after reading my book, you too can let go of your fears, self-doubts, insecurities & get comfortable being YOU in your own skin. I hope you understand that most people giving the advice, having the strongest opinions, doing all the loud judging & criticizing, those are the same people who have failed to even attempt greatness & their opinions do not matter one f*cking bit. I hope you face your fears & most challenging situations head-on & stay optimistic. I hope you believe in yourself no matter how low you get in life & trust that no matter how terrible you think your situation is, you can come back from anything. I hope you realize that no one is coming to save you & nobody cares to. It’s YOU vs. YOU. It always has been. You will have to face yourself in the mirror every single day & be your own damn hero.   I want to thank the trolls, haters & keyboard warriors who hide behind screens all day, spending a majority of their time tearing others down, who have the most to say with the least knowledge. Your ignorance & hate will always force me to grind harder & continue to come back even stronger. You cannot defeat a person who never quits. I will always continue to be me, voice my truth & never give up. More importantly, I want to thank those who continue to support me through thick & thin. You guys are the real heroes.   P.S. This is not some fugazi self-help book. This is my REAL-LIFE story, my flaws, my struggles, my addictions, my downfalls, all of it, & how I fought through adversity & how you WILL & can too. I know I was put on this earth for something much greater than nightclubs & a glitzy facade lifestyle that holds no real purpose, meaning or value... I was put here to show you that you too, can level the f*ck up, live your truth & be your very best self. Writing this book changed my life & gave me the courage to finally remove my mask & be who I always was while in service for others, & I hope it does the same for you. Much love.

How I recover after running 186 miles: Remove both big toenails - Snagged them off 3 days post-race. Huge relief. Toe jamming & kicking rocks caused blisters underneath & massive swelling..they had to go. Apply for another 200+ mile race 4 weeks out - Announcement coming soon. The best recovery is getting back in there. Incline treadmill climbing - Laying off any heavy pounding on my rolled ankle while keeping cardio up. Smart training while healing. Daily supplements @timeline_longevity - Supporting muscle strength & endurance from the cellular level. The science is real & results speak for themselves. Cold plunge at 39 degrees - Contrast therapy reduces inflammation & speeds recovery. Strength training - Must have for 200+ mile races. Makes carrying 15 pounds on your back for days actually manageable. Hyperbaric chamber - Accelerated healing through increased oxygen delivery. Redlight therapy - Cellular repair & inflammation reduction. Physical therapy - Body work, PEMF machine, piezo wave & WINBACK to address the damage & prevent future issues. Sauna sessions - 5 days a week back to back with the cold plunge. Keeps me ready for those hot days back out on the trails. See you all at the next start line very soon. If you have any questions on why or what I do for recovery let me know below. Back in the lab & back to business. The mission continues. #NoFinishLine #ultrarunner #ultrarunning #timelinepartner

Cocodona 250 recap AKA Coco 186 DNF recap. Gave it everything I had. Started with an injured ankle, got it to hold up decently even after rolling it multiple times early in the race. My gait changed because of the ankle, causing a series of other issues that kept slowing me down mile after mile. By mile 180 I was wobbling around with @amglaze , literally walking with my feet inward & knees touching, moving at 60-70 minute miles. Started falling asleep every couple minutes on the sides of the trail & arguing I was never asleep.. classic hallucination territory. Feet stayed on fire the entire race, couldn’t shake it & never had this happen before no matter how much I rested or elevated them they stayed f*cked the entire race.. could have been from running in the newer Speedgoat 7’s I’d never raced in, plus sizing up caused the worst toe jamming, like kicking rocks for 186 brutal miles (toes are completely fried). Just wasn’t my day, but I stepped into the arena & gave it everything instead of sitting on the couch wondering what if. That’s what separates those who try from those who talk. Going to get my ankle fully healed & get ready for Leadville 100 & Moab 240. Even though I covered almost 190 miles & 30,000 feet of climbing, I still came up short in my mind. I’ll be back to finish what I started. Had completed Coco 250 two years in a row.. was coming back for my threepeat. Thank you for all your support. Shoutout to my incredible team & crew: @1stphorm @crendanbadwallader @mchaz2020 @christianbrownjohnson @matt_ritchey @travisradevski @mkerwood8 . You guys are amazing for putting up with my shit & doing everything possible to get me to that finish line. Two DNFs don’t define me, how I respond to them does. Champions aren’t made by never falling, they’re made by getting back up every single time. Back in the lab. Back on the grind. The mission continues. #NoFinishLine 📸: @shotbysenna #maninthearena #Cocodona250 #ultramarathon #ultrarunner

186 miles in & a DNF at Cocodona 250. Gave it everything I had. Stepped into the arena when most people wouldn’t even show up. My ankle, my feet, my body, my mind.. gave it 120% but it wasn’t enough to get the job done. Most will say 186 miles on that brutal terrain is one hell of an accomplishment. Unfortunately for me, I feel like I failed. Feel like I let down my crew & everyone who supports me. I’m very upset right now, but this is part of the game when you choose to compete at this level. Two DNFs in a row stings. Not gonna lie about that. But I’d rather fail in the arena than succeed on the sidelines. Will continue to step back into the arena again & again & again. Can’t win them all, but I can show up for all of them. The only real failure is not trying. I know the haters are celebrating right now. Enjoy it while you can. This isn’t the end of the story, it’s just setting up the comeback. Till next time. #cocodona250 #maninthearena #DNF
