Last night’s world premiere of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man was a huge moment of pride for the West Midlands.
From the Peaky Blinders tram 🚊 named after Steven Knight to Ozzy the Bull welcoming visitors at Birmingham New Street, the city came together to celebrate creativity, culture and confidence.
Peaky Blinders is a true West Midlands success story. Streamed worldwide on Netflix, it continues to drive location tourism and showcase the region’s talent and production strength.
After a month of filming here — supporting local crew and supply chain — this premiere was a big-screen demonstration of what our region does best.
The momentum in the West Midlands screen sector is real. 🎥✨

Jason Lyndon, previously working with SEND pupils, joined our TV & Film Fusion course and quickly identified his pathway into the Art Department.
With targeted support and hands-on placement opportunities, he secured a role within the MasterChef Art Department and hasn’t looked back since!
Jason has now worked across three series, with his contracts extended each time - proving both his value to the production and the long-term sustainability of his career in the industry 🙌
