We’re here to create… and make HISTORY. It means more because we’re giving back supporting the Boys & Girls Club Buzzy Bagum Music Program & CREATE48, so the next generation has a real path forward.
We do have one minor problem. We don’t have an opener. WHO is it? Tag them

Thank you to @atlantic_city_senior_services for making our ongoing creative writing workshop series possible! We just wrapped up Week 3 and we are continuously moved, amazed, and in awe of the writers in this room.
These seniors have stories they have been waiting to share, and the depth, humor, heart, soul, and vulnerability they bring to the page every week has been nothing short of beautiful.
We also want to give a special thank you to @krystlejbailey for opening up about her journey as an author and the realities of getting a book published. Her knowledge and honesty clearly resonated, because many of our writers are now expressing interest in seeing their own stories in print, and we are excited to help them get there.
The best is absolutely still to come. ✍🏽
@mightywriters kids love murals! And Create 48 loves giving mural tours , sharing the art our city and seeing the kids become inspired by all of the artists who have left their work with us. Thank you to Mighty Writers for the opportunity and the pizza !
Thank you to @fishinglenn.gt for the repairs on Kelley Prevard’s mural , located at @atlanticcape Atlantic City campus. Create 48 funds repairs when we can, because public art only lasts if we actually take care of it. These murals belong to all of us. Happy we get to show a little love 💙

✍️ Creative Writers Unite ✍️📝✊ Special Atlantic City Workshop
For March, Create 48 and Village Works are switching up our usual creative writing format and bringing in the creators of The Diving Horse , the Atlantic City zine dedicated to local stories, history, and culture.
They’ll be leading a creative writing workshop built around Atlantic City–inspired prompts, designed to spark new work, words and thoughts about the city we live in, love, and argue about.
Whether you:
• already write for the magazine
• regularly attend our workshops
• or have been curious about both but haven’t taken the leap
Now’s the time.

Our upcoming Softlines Meditative Painting Workshop with Create 48 has been rescheduled to Sunday, March 29 from 1–3 PM.
This guided session invites participants to slow down and explore painting as a meditative practice. Through layered soft lines and intuitive mark-making, we’ll focus on process, rhythm, and presence rather than perfection.
If you were already registered, your spot is still reserved.
Spots are limited and a few may open due to the new date. If you’ve been curious about the workshop, this is a beautiful opportunity to join us.
