The graduation ceremony will include remarks from Atlantic Cape President Dr. Barbara Gaba, keynote speaker Jacquelyn A. SuƔrez, Student Government Association President Clive Morgan and class farewell by 4.0 High Honors Student Jake Harris.

Atlantic Capeās Student Government Association celebrated student clubs, advisors, and campus leaders during its Annual Club Recognition Program on May 7 at Harbor Pines Golf Club.
The event recognized the students, staff, faculty, and clubs who made a positive impact throughout the year through leadership, service, and involvement.

Atlantic Cape Community College announced today that its Board of Trustees has appointed Jason Abreu, Ed.D., as the Collegeās next president. Dr. Abreu will succeed Dr. Barbara Gaba, who will retire on June 30, 2026, following nine years as president and a distinguished 40-year career in higher education.

Atlantic Cape welcomed some very special guests to the Mays Landing Campus for Take Your Child to Work Day!
More than 20 children and grandchildren of faculty and staff spent the day exploring campus, meeting new friends and learning more about where their families work. Our future Buccaneers enjoyed a campus tour and got a behind-the-scenes look at departments including Security, ITS and Athletics. They also took part in hands-on activities including a nature walk with the Science department, a cooking demo with the Academy of Culinary Arts, a drone demonstration highlighting our sUAS programs, and a visit to the Esports lab to learn about video game design.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a fun and memorable success!

Atlantic Capeās 59th Annual Commencement will take place Thursday, May 21 at Ocean Casino Resortās Ovation Hall, with Jacquelyn Suarez, Commissioner of the NJ Department of Community Affairs, delivering this yearās keynote address.
Suarez, who was appointed to her position on September 18, 2023, is leading efforts to expand affordable housing, end veteran homelessness, and strengthen shared services and homeownership opportunities. A champion of data-driven decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and solution-focused governance, Suarez has positioned the DCA as a leader in using innovative tools and strategies to address policy challenges.
Suarez is a New Jersey native and holds a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in Camden and a B.A. from American University. She is a member of the New Jersey and New York bar associations as well as the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey.
