On Monday June 24th, my Dad Arthur left this earth to reunite with my Mom, his two sons and family. He broke his hip back in November 2023, and has been fighting health issues like no other 89 year old. I don’t regret putting my life on hold to visit him, bring him his favorite foods, and or laugh with him, because as I got older, I realized all the sacrifices he made to provide for the family. I would lie, if I told you I was always this close to my father, but the truth is we weren’t. We did however give it one more Father Son try and over the last 20 years he become my best friend and the one person I could talk to without judgement. My Dad didn’t know how to read, cook, or write, but didn’t let that hold him back in life. He absolutely loved food, beer, and spending time with family. He was a Father to 7 kids, Grandfather, Uncle Art to numerous cousins and treated everyone even strangers with kindness and respect. Monday is still a blur to me, but I realized that my best friend, Father, and the person that made me laugh when life kicked me down is no longer here. His passing will hit me more as the days and weeks go on, but more so when our birthday comes around. The fact he’s no longer here to sing me Happy Birthday and ask random strangers to guess our age is something I will miss the most. He was a great man, still didn’t care what people thought about him and lived a happy and prosperous life. I will always love and miss you Dad. Love always, Craig
John and Stacy @jspfab surprised me last night with a set of their Billet Window Cranks with custom “Craigothy Edition” Acrylic knobs. Stacy influenced and Deigned by John, I am honored to have both of them as friends, and thanks for always making me laugh and for helping me out. I’m excited to ask John to install them in my truck, so I don’t scratch them 😂. When I saw the prototype window crank on his desk I was blown away by the design. After seeing him test fit one on my truck, i honestly couldn’t stand all the play in my original window crank. A must buy if have manual windows.
