I always look forward to meetings with our amazing students and have especially enjoyed the time I’ve had getting to know our Panetta Internship nominee, Eric Paulsen.
As a @classcpp Political Science major, Eric has started AI Ethics & Policy Club, co-founded the Pre-Law Club, and created a Neurodiversity Alliance mentoring program that connects college students with middle schoolers. Plus, through his work as a @cppcollegecorps fellow, he’s making a positive impact by promoting sustainability education in our community.
I’m so proud to nominate Eric. He truly embodies the idea of becoming by doing. And I can’t wait to see all the great things he’ll accomplish in Washington, D.C., and beyond!

We all lead 🌱
We’re excited to share We All Lead Camp 2026, a two day experience at Lopez Urban Farm rooted in leadership, community, and connection to land.

¡Que viva lxs granjerxs!
At Lopez Urban Farm, we honor the farmworkers who sustain our food systems and care for this land, not just on Farmworkers Day but every day.
Their labor, knowledge, and resilience live in everything we do. In the way we share food. In the way we learn together. In the way we open this space to our community.
We carry these values forward through education, green space, food access, an alternative economy, and radical partnerships as a daily practice.
We can feed ourselves together 🫱🏽🫲🏾
Podemos alimentarnos juntxs 🫱🏽🫲🏾

✨Gentle Reminder✨
Growth isn’t meant to be easy—it’s meant to shape you. Every setback, every detour is part of becoming who you’re meant to be.🌱
Save this for when you need the reminder 💬

A regular week at the farm looks like:
Pollinators moving through the flowers.
Community harvesting together.
Learning happening in real time.
A poem taking shape under the avocado tree.
Fresh vegetables heading home with you.
Stop by when you can. 🌿
—

What you see, is what you get. This is us :)
It’s never been just one person behind this, It’s all of us! A whole community grounded in radical partnership, alternative economy, food access, environmental justice, farmworkers rights, wellness, supporting artists, providing education, cultural healing and taking care of each other along the way through mutual aid. So many people in fact, that we couldn’t tag them all!
This is what happens when community gets to lead. When people bring their own meaning into the work and build something real together.
Happy Ignacio Lopez Day. Grateful to be part of a legacy rooted in storytelling, justice, and showing up for our people. We can feed ourselves together 🤝🏽
Thanks @aliciaveephoto for making us look cute! Thanks to @foxpomona for the marquee love and @gorgansons for lunch ✨

Additionally, he would also like to contribute to the Sentinel series, which gathers global satellite data on land, ocean, and atmospheric conditions.
In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, disc golf, and reading novels.
