Saying goodbye to the PNW has been a slow and steady process of unearthing ghosts, unmasking my breath, remembering my time in community, setting sail to my youthful fears, reconciling with wounds, connecting to the friendships I have navigated, loved, and failed. My homing years in Port Townsend have shaped me to appreciate seasons and the will of magical moments. I am south now, a mid winter creature waking to spring song.
This clip from “how to build the home you leave” was a moment I continued to live inside of. A spell that opened my vision of past and future. Thank you @smellie.bird and @reganelizabethwilliams for your friendship and voices ❤️
This is a cover of “not ready to return” by @reidmeplease your music accompanies many moments of tenderness in my life🧚
Greetings! I’m just your hairy chested trans fem friend posting photos of my body so the algorithm can get me closer to your hearts. Love you all and invite you to flirt with me while I’m in the mood for it 🧚 I don’t have that much documentation of my body outside of performances of clown puddles so this is all I got for this sinister button machine.

Allowing the past to inhabit the winter, a fluctuation of rose hips and soft metals. Easy was the hand that held me safe. To follow the morning dew’s movement would remind me of future light.
Wonderful photography by @sandeesjohnson at the beautiful sculpture garden of @cwiffland - “I’d disappear for a long time so I could reappear for a life time.” How my bones change over time, how mistakes create the space for new relationships. I pray to the gods of burial and birth, hoping one day I bare witness to the unraveling.
Photos by @houndsoflovephoto this was an ancestral clown piece from country queers- this rural community I’ve lived in for the past four years has so many people who bravely share themselves. Thank you @bobby.4.bobby for helping create the containers that resource our communities capacity to transform ❤️
Photos by @graece_gabriel Such a pleasure to have shared some of this year collaborating with Ben Starflower an incredible wood fairy/ harpist. Thank you @sophiamadelina for hosting this Butoh Cabaret in new port, OR
Photos by @autumnslight000 from a Butoh Cabaret back in April. One day I will speak about the hierarchy & colonialism involved with the PNW Butoh Community. But for now the distance from y’all has been what I’ve needed. Fuck America for creating so many chasms, it makes doing art with some of you all quite the challenge.
A small part of a new show that sprouted this past fall🧚Singing with @smellie.bird and @reganelizabethwilliams last week was the work of dreams. This is a song written by @annativel “royal blue” thank you again to the @quilcene.lantern for hosting this performance “how to build the home you leave” .
The QL is so excited to host: How to Build the Home you Leave on Sunday, December 7th!!!
“How to build the home you leave” is a music / performance show featuring Rae Williams (Hill Country, TX), Ellie Baird (LaGrange, IL), and Cosmo Rapaport (Duxbury, VT)and special guest Ben Starflower (Duvall, WA). This collaboration invites audiences to join our collective stories about home, selfhood, and community. This evening weaves together poignant songwriting, poetic scenic soundscapes, and choreographed movement scores. Through individual storytelling and working as an ensemble the four of us build the architecture of familiar for others to perhaps glance into internal landscapes of dreaming, belonging, and homecoming.
