Last year I did a two-month job in India for the renewable energy giant Avaada. The project was enormously rewarding—both creatively and personally—as I forged new lifelong friends and expanded my creative horizons. However, what made the experience magical was bringing my wife and daughter to India as well. During our stay in Goa, Danielle and Lexi discovered three orphaned puppies by the side of the road. These orphans were unlikely to survive. What started as a journey halfway around the world became one we'd continue at home. @danielle.k.wagner 's compassion for animals is one of the many reasons why I fell in love with her. As we celebrated love this past weekend, I'm making a personal appeal to anyone moved by the needs of animals—here or abroad, please help us save “The Indie Three.” These dogs deserve a loving home.

Ad astra...The boundaries we adventure to can shed light on the things we hold dear like nothing else can. Getting to capture that feeling for @virgingalactic will always be one of my favorite joys and challenges. Just a few of my favorite frames worth sharing.

Olympic athlete @natoya_goule_oly is one of the most impressive individuals whose story I’ve had the honor to capture. Her dedication to running isn’t easy to compete with, but it was a lot of fun trying, especially considering we got the whole track to ourselves that day to work some cinematic magic. Just a few fun frames to share.

@sen2figueroa is a stunning visual artist, and his work is equally as inspiring as his story. Capturing both his journey and his creative process was a blast- here are just a few of my favorite frames. Honored to have the piece recognized as a Webby Honoree.
