**It started with a threat that made our blood run cold: three innocent puppies were going to be put in a bag and drowned.**
While exploring Goa, we found three six-week-old puppies who had been dumped without their mother. They had recently lost one sibling and locals told us their chances of survival were slim. Without their mom to teach them and with distemper and parvo outbreaks in the area, these puppies faced almost certain death.
They were found just in timeāscared, vulnerable, and hours away from a terrible fate. Dumped at just 6 weeks old without their mother, these tiny puppies faced the world alone. But saving them was only the beginning of their journey.
With nowhere permanent to go, these puppies bounced between two different short-term fosters. Every day was uncertain. Every transition was stressful. We were running out of options.
Then just as the puppies were almost put back on the street we found a boarding facility two hours away that could take them temporarily. It bought us some time, but we knew we needed a real solution.
We connected with @incredible_indies_fosterhome , an organization in India that agreed to board and care for them until late March 2026, when theyāll be 6 months old and allowed to enter the United States.
We are planning to bring them to the U.S. where I (Danielle, a Pacific North West resident) will personally foster and find them homes.
**Now comes the hardest part: raising the funds to bring them here.**
These three puppiesāwho were supposed to die that dayānow have a chance at life. A chance at safety. A chance at finding families who will love them forever.

Iāve been passionate about animals my entire life, so it wonāt surprise anyone who knows me that Iām trying to rescue dogs from across the world.
I live in the PNW, but my heart is in NYC.
Iām a nurse, but I think about going to vet school on a regular basis!
