🔴🎥 Cortex Ensemble & Loverman à Koekelberg Évènement immanquable de l’Automne bruxellois, le @listenfestivalbrussels commençait ce mardi 04 novembre. Pour l’occasion, l’orchestre @cortexensemble et l’artiste belgo-britannique @loverman.95 se produisaient dans l’emblématique basilique du Sacré-Coeur de Bruxelles, plus connue sous le nom de basilique de Koekelberg. Le lieu de culte s’est donc transformé en salle de concert pour un soir, occasion pour nous d’aller à la rencontre de @arthurbrouns , compositeur de l’orchestre, et d’en apprendre plus sur les origines du projet, son parcours et les collaborations avec non seulement Loverman, mais également @stace_ee , @arunee.nuna et @camillecamillehoney misent en place pour l’ocasion. #journalisme #track32 #bruxelles #classique #koekelberg #musique

Behind the Scenes: Soundtrack to Trokas Duras A glimpse into the process and the people behind the making of the Trokas Duras soundtrack. Trokas Duras is a journey through Los Angeles, seen through the eyes of jornaleros and their iconic pickup trucks that carry their labor, stories, and dreams. Blending magical realism with documentary, we wanted the soundtrack to reflect these themes and echo the richness of Latin American musical culture. The score aspires to unfold the narrative, bridging reality and dreams, culminating in a celebratory sonidero. @buffalotearz envisioned the music as a homage to artists like Julio Jaramillo, Javier Solis, and Lucho Gatica, embracing their golden, soaring orchestral sound. Collaborating together with Jazmin (@nts_live ’s Como La Flor) to shape the soundtrack was a true joy. She shared an archive full of treasures of música sentimental from the past century that we could take inspiration of. Trokas Duras by @buffalotearz & @daylabourernetwork has won the Short Film Jury Award in the U.S. Fiction category at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival! Had a great time last week recording the string and brass arrangements for the upcoming short film “Trokas Duras” by Jazmin Garcia x Field Trip, Gwenno Morgan’s upcoming album “Gwyw” for BBC Horizons / Gorwelion, and the arrangements for my dear friends Victor Maillard, Yarno Hoedemaekers, and Ed Botes for San Kofa Records. What a team! Thanks to everyone involved and to @studioattack for making everything sound so smooth!
