Cortex is proud to introduce our 2025 Impact Report, a 32-page look at the progress shaping our 200-acre innovation district and the people driving it forward.
From championing entrepreneurs to supporting high-growth startups and strengthening the District’s physical infrastructure, 2025 was a year defined by action and impact. Cortex continues to bring together talent, technology, and collaboration to help move St. Louis innovation forward.
Throughout the week, we’ll highlight stories from the report that showcase the people, companies, and partnerships moving our mission forward.

📢 @mamapachasabor , @fufunsauce , and @teavoila —three alumni of Cortex’s Square One (SQ1) program—have been selected for the @schnucksmarkets Springboard Accelerator, earning placement in 15 St. Louis-area stores for a four-week pilot (through 5/12/26).
This achievement highlights the growth of St. Louis’ food entrepreneurship ecosystem and SQ1’s impact through mentorship and training.
With over two dozen SQ1 alumni-food entrepreneurs sharing their cuisine and products through restaurants, community markets and grocery stores, Cortex invites you to support these locally-owned businesses.
