Scene built in @unrealengine using a bunch of @kitbash3d assets to put most of the scifi outpost together. Had a great time using the river and lake water system in Unreal, and using PCG (Procedural Content Generation) to layout trees, foliage, rocks, and the roads and buildings of the base.
Very cool to setup rules with PCG and then draw out road areas and have them populate with lights and buildings lining them, or define areas for foliage elements and have them automatically populate within!
And man the render times with Unreal are so good, like damn it feels weird coming from Blender to something that can render at high quality in almost real time

Virtual Stadium asset produced for @slikdigital earlier this year, for their Paralympics Australia Virtual Stadium project. I modeled and textured this asset, in a stylised painterly style, for the intro flythrough of Paris that users saw when entering the virtual stadium (and in marketing materials)
Was an interesting project to work on, texturing in a style that's different from what i usually do. And as always was great to work with Slik and their team to help deliver one of their virtual experiences!

Hi! We're Longsonder Studio, indie game devs from Melbourne, Australia, working on some scifi games featuring Mecha and Spaceships!
We are working on a larger Space Pirate game with large scale Spaceship combat called Borous and The Barbary Star that we plan to develop over time.
Our current focus though is a smaller Isometric Mecha game that we are working on right now.

What do you decorate your workspace with? I love to have cool figures and gundam kits along with some plant life to give a space some good energy. Gives me some scifi designs to inspire what I build in 3D as well heheh
