A few details of โShift Workโ featuring studio assistants for a prominent Hudson Valley artist is up today through next Sunday. Thursdays-Sundays 12-5 pm!
โShift Workโ is a group show of @jeffrune studio assistants on view through Nov 13. Couldnโt even fit all the great work in this post! There will be a fun reception TONIGHT from 6-8 pm followed by a dance party at @theavalonlounge with @community_rave_network !
The studio assistants at Jeffrey Gibson @jeffrune have installed a great group show in our space, up through Sunday, Nov 13. We will be hosting a fun party on Saturday from 6-8 pm to celebrate! Come on through if you missed the first event last weekend. On view Thursdays-Sundays 12-5
Co-Prosperity Catskill is an East Coast satellite space that hosts both local New York artists (like Jeffery Gibsonโs studio - opening a show soon!) and buddies from Chicago and beyond. In the past year, itโs also been the site of production for artists like Sofia Cordova and Victoria Martinez, exhibition space for local students, and a showcase for the work of Chicago buddies like Nicholas Zepeda, Juan Palacios, and Brandon Alvendia.
We are hoping to be able to keep this newest of our spaces open to keep the exchange going with such artists as Diana Solis & Nicole Marroquin and Jen Delos Reyes next year. If we can raise enough, with your help, we can continue to develop this new platform into a sustainable bridge from Chicago to the complicated rural cultural experiments happening in the Hudson River Valley.

Alt Text: A 4-panel multicolored image of a new PMI logo, 3D, popped out, looking like a building/factory/funhouse that is emanating complicated and confusing products, paper airplanes, and new kinds of tools. Itโs on a black background, and there are little polychrome people walking around its base. The text on the slides reads: โPublic Media Institute Matching Fund Challenge; Donate, Get a Gift!; As one of Chicago's
longest-running artist-run nonprofits, Public Media Institute needs your help to continue to serve the Chicago
community and beyond. Co-Prosperity is one of PMl's many moving parts. We need your help to keep them moving! (Then a collection of 9 logos for @buddy.chicago , @coprosperitychicago@coprosperitycatskill , The Mutual Aid Guide, @communitykitchenchicago@mdwfair , @lumpenradio@lumpen.tv@lumpenmagazine then it says: Your donation to PM decides the
future for these platforms of support!โ
