Huge amount of trauma bonding going on with @sicamore and @reidmoulis yesterday during the #AllstonRatRace (@commonwheels ).
We started with 6 people, casually dropped and picked up people throughout the entire 29-lap (95mile race).
Started at 10, ended at 8, we averaged a little under 3.5miles per lap - we could have optimized the route a little more, but we had fun and being able to lean on each other for encouragement when we started bonking was huge.
Reid snagged 2nd Place and I got 1st thanks to some bonus events. This team kicked ass. I never want to see Everett street in Allston ever again.

This was the first time my parents saw this bike in person and they convinced me to take it out of the living room and sprint down (terrible sprint form, I gotta stretch more) the street on it

I’m bad with taking photos and being proactive about making memories, but after a not so stellar start to 2022, I’m very excited with how it’s ending.
Super thankful for my job which gave me the opportunity to do something I’ve always wanted to do ever since I started riding track bikes. I used my 5-year sabbatical to spend 2 weeks down in Tucson to learn bicycle frame building with the great @dbohemian
I just got the bike back from paint, and let me say @noluckpaintworks took my idea and absolutely killed it. Dan doesn’t typically paint bicycles but he was up for the challenge, and to be honest, pictures will never do it justice. The way the color blends in sunlight is amazing.
I spent the last 2 days rebuilding the BB, Headset and Hubs, so this bike is as fresh as it gets, outfitted with all my favorite Dura Ace and Nitto components thankfully Boston knew how stoked I was and decided to give me a somewhat sunny day for its maiden voyage. It rides like a dream and I’m so thankful for all who were involved in the process.
Never had a blue bike, but stoked that this is my first. After years of @intimewerust hyping them up, and missing the preorder on the Barcodes twice, I can now say I’m apart of the T1 Club.
This SFA popped up, and I just couldn’t pass it up!
