No, I will not apologize for FINALLY posting these pictures from Pride over 3 months after the event because: 1. Pride is all year long 2. Social media is awful and the world is literally burning. Been a while since I posted one of these… and I’m definitely fashionably late to posting my own shows for May… but I have SO many exciting shows still left for this month to share with you all that I figured better late than never 👹❤️‍🔥 If you missed the Haus of Heaux’s Transcend show this last weekend then you definitely missed an experience of trans excellence. Introducing Lill De Vil Heaux to the world… and to boobs?👁️🫦👁️ Our genderfucked shows at @thehausofheaux are always a challenge for me since it was through becoming a king that I came to terms with my own identity as a transmasc person in this world… but this past time something different happened for me. I instead explored what parts of me still felt intrinsically connected to femininity and found that those parts are just very wounded, and so were drawn moreso to sadness than to anything else. So I went with that, I allowed Lill De Vil to come out in whatever ways she wanted and it felt almost… freeing? I also created a dress and headpiece from nothing but some scrap fabrics I had and a dream (horns made from scrap foam). The dress and building a feminine look was part of the processing for me this time, creating things that would’v made me feel uncomfortable in my previous female form. Also highlighting some of my own personal insecurities through the outfit by highlighting my scoliosis with the spinal detail amongst other things. Anyways, yeah. This was special to me. And, for the first time in my life, in a dress that I made, I felt pretty in a dress… so. A win’s a win. Gender is weird. What can truly be said about @itsjanewarwickbabe That she is truly an ethereal performer who I believe could out-perform Florence herself to a Florence and the Machine song. A kind soul who I am lucky enough to call my friend, and our previous reigning glitter winner from 2024… which means there was only one correct answer when she pitched to me this idea of her final step-down number and asked if I thought I could catch her as she fell from the stage…. HELL YES! 👹 Being a part of this experience back in January was certainly a feat, one many months in the making, but a magical and worthwhile feat indeed. I got closer to some friends, met some new friends along the way, and got to be part of a truly incredible night and number that I will never forget. Thank you Jane for being the brilliant artist and talent that you are and for thinking of me when putting together this MASTERPIECE of a production. I love you long time.
