Developed over a decade of DJing and dance floors, his decisiveness is guided by intuition that prioritizes the needs of the party. With an appetite for sonic exploration and composition, expect an array of cuts from past and present. Constanz, Dino’s multi-disciplinary techno project launched earlier this year, is the culmination of his experiences as a curator of music, curator of spaces, and carries the ethos of underground community.

Artist Spotlight: Isabel Soto is a Venezuelan-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer with a flair for creating one-of-a-kind experiences on the dance floor. Her story began in Canada, where she started developing her style while exploring Montreal’s underground scene, a space that shaped her raw, hypnotic, percussive sound and gave her the freedom to experiment. Her music is about creating a space -- a feeling. Abstract textures and deep rhythms come together in her sets, guiding people on an atmospheric journey that feels personal and infinite all at once. Driven by a powerful energy that stays with you long after the last track fades. With her own label, NYXII Records, and releases on respected imprints, Isabel is doing things her way, organically, steadily, and with real heart. Her rise isn’t about hype; it’s about the connection she creates, one track, one set, one night at a time.

Artist Spotlight: Sorcery [*REPOST*]   Merlin Ettore, aka Sorcery, is a multi-disciplinary aficionado of music and art whose contemporary catalogue delivers an electrifying fusion of TECHNO, razor-sharp IDM, gritty rhythms, and intricately defined textures. Informed by his musicianship that toured him across the world, Merlin’s collaborations and contributions with Blush Response, Belief Defect (Drumcell & Luis Flores), and SUM (Kangding Ray & Barry Burns) reveal his awe-inspiring capabilities as a traditional drummer infusing live electronics.    The third generation percussionist is no stranger to Canada; born and raised in Montreal, he developed into a virtuoso drummer with an electro-acoustic obsession. Discovering techno in 2007 was inevitable when moving to Berlin, the global capital of electronic music. It is here that his compelling, abrasive alchemy, defined by a belief in the pursuit of ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’ - ‘total’ music production: composition, collaboration, performance, and recording - evolved into the audacious swagger and avant-garde finesse we hear today.     With releases on esteemed labels like @bedouinrecords , @ara.aboutrecordingartists , @systemrevival , @voidplus1 , @47_2.0 , and @mnshift , Sorcery’s unrelenting and visceral impulses transcend traditional techno. Artist Spotlight: Xicada    Toronto’s very own Sorceress, Ilyse Krivel, is at the forefront of Canada’s rich experimental underground community. Her immersive compositions merge the sacred and synthetic with personal, spectral vocals, unstable rhythms, and warping textures emerge as a kind of interdimensional alien folk trance, rooted in ritual, rupture, and the surreal.      Borscht (@borscht.live ), her co-founded label and internet radio station, is where her most recent album, ENGAGING ANIMAL EARTH, released. Xicada describes her artifact as a kind of “witchy, earth-bound futurism,” where, “conjured sonic environments unfold altered states and liminal worlds.” The influence of ambient, bass, breakbeat, idm, experimental techno and noise are boiled harmoniously into her cauldron of mystifying production.    Her active membership with Degeneral Strike (@degeneralstrike ), a non-profit Toronto collective promoting experimental sound and community-based music, brings together likeminded community driven activists that bolster the true underground scene.      Xicada has shared the stage with E-Saggila, Pessimist, Spike Hellis, Dis Fig, Black Ox Orkestar, Jessica Moss, and Hesaitix. Her work has been released on Halocline Trance, Foxy Digitalis, Borscht Records, and Aural Tethers.    Xicada’s performance at this year’s edition of Canada’s renowned festival, MUTEK, is another mile stone in her breakout year. Spotlight: Bailey Ibbs Spanning across all fields of DJing, producing, and curating with his own label Night Service, he showcases a visionary approach that seamlessly blends elements of techno, breaks, and rave music. Having dedicated years to exploring and experimenting with sound, Ibbs made his entrance into the Techno scene in 2022 with the release of his 'Volta EP', which garnered the attention of heavyweights such as DVS1 & Ben Klock. Building on this success, Ibbs continued to make significant contributions for KiNK, Token, HATE, and SLAM. His presence has become solidified on the global circuit alongside another impressive release, 'Not Into It EP,' on Night Service in 2023. In 2024, Bailey has been unveiled as a resident at the iconic Tresor, poised to continue evolving and refining his distinctive sound.
