This first time I went home to Buffalo I asked my family and friends about things they collect. Then I wrote a song about that process. I think packing your life up to move is kinda like looking at two things at once. You have to decide what to miss. Then you have to miss it. My show is about learning things that I don’t know how to learn, with a camera. Often it’s really cathartic, if you know what that word means (I don’t). Wed 6/12/24 we did a live audience recording of the full LASTSUMMER: HUMAN/NATURE performance. We made a short zine on duality that acts as an interactive tool for audience engagement. It took everything we had physically and mentally to pull off the live show, on top of challenging myself to work on new mediums. The zine/viewing guide includes writing prompts, animation, stills from the show, and AR video. Print is one of the most exciting mediums to play with!
